CODE OF CREATION STRIKES AGAIN!!!!!!

Hello,
Corinna and I are back at Luna's Castle in Panama. Two more weeks of painting after riding chicken buses from here all the way north to Northern Guatemala and Southern Mexico over the last 2.5 months. What an amazing time beyond any attempt to even explain. Anyone who knows the way we do things will surely imagine where we went and how we went about it!!!! Truly epic, inspirational, random, loco, motivating, and powerful!

I spent some of my time creating art with the supplies I carried with me, along with garbage, scrap and random things I found along the way. I did not photograph everything I did, however, some of the creative outlets included: illustrations, paintings, graffiti, wood sculptures, rock carvings, seed, shell and rock collecting, knot tying, photography, visualizing and contemplation.

Here are a few of the things done.......

"SIGHTS FELT" - illustrated by candlelight on the shore of Lago de Atitlan, Guatemala, a volcanic crater lagoon

"SIGHTS SEEN" Also, illustrated by candlelight on the shore of Lago de Atitlan, Guatemala, a volcanic crater lagoon

"IGUANA" illustrated in the middle of nowhere, mountainous jungles of Guatemala

"HORSE MOUNTED WARRIOR IN THE SKY" Illustrated in El Salvador

"DANCER" Illustrated in El Salvador

"RUNNING MAN" Illustrated in EL Salvador

"BUTTERFLIES AND BALANCING ACTS" Illustrated laying in a hammock near the beach in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica

"UNTITLED" Painted under the sun on a mountaintop avocado farm overlooking a deep valley and 3 volcanoes...1 active and spewing smoke and rock.

"CODE" Of Creation - marked in dry mud with a stick at a waterfall in the jungle hills of El Salvador

"CODE" Of Creation - written on the road in the mountains of El Salvador using pink rock. I actually left this 1 foot tall mark along with gigantic 3 foot pink hearts every few feet for over a kilometer.

"A ONE EARTH CONTINUATION" Painted and left on a wall in Leon Nicaragua

Hand-carved faces made from volcanic pumice collected in crater lagoons throughout Nicaragua. I left many of these throughout Central America in random places, but did not document them all.

"HOMBRE VACA" Cow Man...Painted as a gift for my Spanish teacher in Grenada Nicaragua. We found "hombre rana" frog man, in the dictionary, so I asked him if there is an animal-man for every animal. It's our joke I guess...

"CODE" Of Creation - written curbside in Nicaragua using a piece of charcoal I found in the gutter.

"ONE LONE SURFER" Painted on the beach in Nicaragua

"TRIBES IN PEACE" Painted on the beach in Nicaragua

As well, I am setting up a solo public art exhibit here in Panama.
